Born out of the House of God Keith Dominion Church, Sacred Steel is a little known American tradition of pairing African-American gospel music with an electric steel guitar twist. For nearly 20 years, THE CAMPBELL BROTHERS. featuring pedal steel guitarist Chuck Campbell and his lap steel-playing brother Darick Campbell have been considered some of the best of the genre. The band's rhythm section is anchored by brother Phil Campbell on electric guitar and his son Carlton Campbell on drums. Add Katie Jackson's heartfelt vocals and you have Pentecostal music with a twist that demands to be heard as captured on their discs, Sacred Steel on Tour and Sacred Steel for the Holidays.
